The Ox Effect first began in January 2017 as a group fitness gym in Torquay. In March 2019 the owner and founder, Jessica Mellington closed the gym to pursue her dream further and started building custom Online programs and Personal Training in the Surf Coast community. Jessica has trained over 600 clients in Torquay and has taught over 2800 classes and Personal training sessions under The Ox Effect name. Her programs are designed to have you working from anywhere you want to achieve your health and fitness goals for 2019. The Ox Effect was built on being a supportive network that created workouts suitable to each individual. It is important to Jessica that she gives the best care possible. In order for her to look after you, she designs the program around you and your facilities. Each workout is kept in a clients own portal and is tracked by Jessica weekly. She has three packages available.

Pushing you to new limits and helping you to achieve your goals. Jessica is a firm believer in mixing up your routines. Each week you will receive new exercises and master old ones to give you the perfect combo. Jessica also tries to help you learn new things to stay engaged and motivated. Jessica also offers personal training to Individuals, Businesses, Sports clubs and Schools. She comes to you and runs her 60 minute sessions. Available to Torquay locals. Chat to Jess about her availabilities.

Over 50's Programs.

Jessica offers programs for clients of all ages but she is known in the Torquay community for her over 50’s programs. This program uses a combination of Strength Training, balance and mobility exercises to give a great whole body workout. It is vital as we age to look after our bone density and central nervous system. She tailors the program to suit all fitness levels. Our regulars enjoy the benefits of feeling stronger, increasing energy levels and feeling much steadier on their feet.
