February Family

This month you will have noticed a few new friendly faces about the gym.  I want to thank you all for referring your friends and family onto us. We rely on word of mouth referrals as a small business and I really appreciate the help.
If you weren't already aware, we are running a 1 week free trial for new clients who want to try The Ox Effect.
I also encourage you to introduce yourselves to new faces you haven't seen before. I want to continue to help make The Ox a place where everyone feels comfortable and welcome.
It can be intimidating and daunting for a lot of people to start their fitness journey so let's make it that bit more enjoyable and say G'day!

Bring your friends!

Inside & Out

Friday Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga runs every Friday morning. We are playing around with a 9am or 9:30am start. I would love to gather some feedback on this one. If you have a preference and would be a regular at this class please let me know. It will be majority rules. Thanks

Ethan's Personal Training
Ethan is back to his studies so we will be missing him around the gym in the morning. Don't fret! He still offers Personal Training sessions. If you want to work on your technique, getting stronger and getting in shape for a competition or sport then you can contact Ethan here.

Bootcamp + Workshop with Kerry Lomas, Nutritionist
18th March 2018, 9am start

We are only beginning to understand the importance of our microbiome. The trillions of bacteria that live on and in us are extremely important to our overall wellbeing. The beneficial bacteria in our digestive system has the capability to affect our body’s vitamin and mineral absorbency, hormone and weight regulation, digestion, vitamin production, immune response, ability to eliminate toxins and our overall mental health. Choosing foods that help support the balance of bacteria in our gut can help keep inflammation at bay and keep you smashing goals in your training and recovery!
The workshop will include demonstrations and your own recipe book for pre and pro-biotic foods to improve the health of your gut and boost your immune system. There will also be sampling of the delicious recipes!

You must register for this Upcoming Community Workshop with Jess. Free admission. Limited spots available. Thanks :)

45 min workout followed by the Love Your Guts Workshop.

Just because it is Monday :)
I thought I would put in my favourite photos from our gym session the other week.
1. Me pulling the awkward face, when Martin complains about my music again for the 1000th time.
2. Ethan demonstrating the concentration face that happens in warm ups.
3. Al & Ethan's hi 5 caught in action
